This document is published in English only. The English text is the one that governs.
Yours to play.
You may install and use CHEZABLE on any device you control, for as long as you like, at no charge. You may not sell it, rent it, or present it as your own. The application's source code is separately licensed; these terms govern your use of the published app, not that licence.
The dictionary is not yours to extract.
The competitive word list the app plays on is licensed to us by its publisher, embedded in an encoded form, and acknowledged in the app. You may use it to play. You may not extract it, decompile the application to recover it, or redistribute it in any form.
A word list you import yourself is your responsibility: you are confirming that you hold the rights to use it. It stays on your device and we never receive it.
The few things not to do.
Do not decompile, reverse-engineer or modify the app to recover licensed data from it.
Do not redistribute the app or any part of its contents as your own, modified or otherwise.
Do not use the CHEZABLE name or marks to suggest a product is ours when it is not.
What we are not.
CHEZABLE is an independent crossword-tile game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hasbro, Inc. or Mattel, Inc., and does not use the Scrabble name in the product, the store listings or the marketing.
Read it, link to it, share it.
You may browse this website, link to any page of it, and share what you find here. Its text, design and the CHEZABLE name and mark belong to Hekaya Agency: do not copy them into another site or product, or present them as your own. The playable board on the site is a demonstration, not the full game. We may change or take down any part of the site at any time, and it is provided as it is, like the app. How the site uses cookies and analytics is set out in the privacy policy.
Provided as it is.
The app is provided without warranty of any kind. We have tested it and we stand behind it, but we cannot promise it is free of defects or that it will suit a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it — including a saved game that will not reopen, though the record format is designed so that should not happen.
Where disputes are settled.
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and the courts of Uganda have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them — without affecting the consumer protections of the country in which you live.
